For Medline Netherlands, an international supplier of medical products, we developed a future-oriented office concept.

Based on a European workplace strategy, the project aimed to create a coherent and easily identifiable office space, aligned with the brand identity and adaptable to the local context.

As consultants and real estate agents, we have accompanied this process from strategy to the design of a clear and structured interior, capable of ensuring international consistency and responding to needs.

Nuestras misiones y ambiciones.

— European workplace strategy: development of a comprehensive concept formalized in a common design book for European headquarters (Utrecht, France, Madrid), ensuring a recognizable international standard while leaving room for local interpretations.

— Real estate and relocation advice: strategic support for the move from the WTC, near Arnhem Central Station, to a more central location in the Netherlands, offering more square footage, better accessibility, and an environment in line with new ways of working; subletting of the existing lease until 2028 on flexible, market-based terms.

— Design and fit-out: rollout of the European concept in Utrecht with a flexible design that anticipates growth (from 75% to 125% occupancy), integrating 100% of workstation capacity, touchdown spaces for all teams, modular meeting rooms, and an optimized layout.

— Interior architecture: creation of an open and connected environment, marked by transparent glass walls and horizontal lines that evoke the stalls of a covered market, places of exchange, encounter, and activity.

— Identity and branding: a simple, refined color palette that aligns with Medline’s brand colors, enhanced with local touches selected by the Dutch team to blend international consistency with a distinct local identity.

— Comfort and performance: development of an integrated acoustic concept that combines technical solutions with aesthetic finishes, along with signage that reinforces the brand identity and helps guide employees and international visitors.

— Design and execution: coordination and execution in collaboration with specialized partners (Wurks, Planeffect, Haklander, Desque, Mcart, Green Stories, Dasco, Bit4U, Linthorst…), under the direction of Parella.

Medline’s new office in Utrecht embodies a coherent and evolving European vision. A flexible, functional, and connected work environment, designed to support the company’s growth and bring its international identity to life, while remaining deeply rooted in its local context.
